Previously responsible for the international engineering of Siri, other professional experience includes development of web services and applications based on Natural Language Processing.

I received my M.Sc. in Telecommunication Engineering from Technical University of Madrid (ETSIT-UPM), and I carried out my last year studies and Master’s Thesis at Blekinge Institute of Technology (BTH) in Sweden, where I focused my career in Computer Science with emphasis in Machine Learning.

    Responsible for the international engineering of Siri, from speech recognition to natural language processing, machine learning, big data consumption all the way to speech synthesis.

    Specific responsibilities include:

    • Developing natural language processing code specific for Spanish.
    • Provide input and suggestions towards innovating new approaches and new product features.
    • Coming up with solutions to complex issues.
    • Automating and integrating workflow from diverse systems.
    • Daily interaction with other teams at Apple working towards the same goal.
